The Montana Agricultural Experiment Station provides eight-week paid internships and academic credit for summer positions. Paid internships are available at each of the seven MAES Research Centers. Each intern will serve eight weeks and receive $4,500 in remuneration. Selected interns also can receive an optional $400 towards summer tuition credit towards MSU, MSU-N or MSU-B coursework through the Summer 2017 registration process with their academic department. Students will need to seek approval for academic credits and the department will determine the scholarly product required for credit. All interns will assist with various research projects, farm and ranch related tasks, data analysis and more. This will be a wonderful item for résumés, as it encompasses all aspects of agriculture research work experience. On-site housing is available at some of the centers. Applications are due March 22, 2017. Click here to learn more and apply.
